I am Seppe, 34 years dad of Vik and Laurien and 10-time winner of the Hel van Kasterlee, I was also twice world champion in duathlon. I work as a sales representative for Orbea, which allows me to be involved with cycling during my working hours. I compete all year round: triathlon, duathlon, cycling, gravel racing, beach racing, trailrunning,... Everything with cycling and running I have probably done it before.

What are your biggest achievements related to cycling?

I once everested the Sigarenberg in our village. To do so, I had to climb it 239 times good for about 393km and 16 hours on the bike.

Last year I won the Hel van Kasterlee for the 10x in a row, this winter duathlon is sometimes called the toughest in the world. 15km running 125km mountain biking and 30km running are on the menu that day. But the toughest part is often the weather conditions, which are usually not ideal in mid-December. The last edition, it was mainly the freezing temperatures that make it an exceptional race.

I am a 2-time world long-distance duathlon champion. A title I won in 2016 and 2021 in Zofingen, Switzerland.
