Weekend Round-Up – Week 4

Great oppertunities

Joost Wichman went to California for a photoshoot last week. Besides Foothill Ranch, Temecula and Laguna Beach Joost found some great trails to show off his skills in front of the camera. Last Saturday he also found time to visit MX Supercross star Aaron Plessinger in Parris to have a good time and exchange experiences. As you can image these are the best days in the office for Joost.

German Bike Magazine published a shoecover test and our UltraWear (BWS-12) shoecovers got the verdict “Testsieger” (Test Winner). The shoecovers are praised for their perfect fit and offer great protection against wet conditions. As this award is the third award for the UltraWear shoecovers and nothing less than the 11th award from the international media for our complete shoecover range it clearly underlines the quality of our shoecovers.

You can image we are in a mood to celibrate! For that reason we’ll give away 5 sets of the shoecovers later on this week. Stay tuned on our website and social media to find out how you can become one of the lucky winners.

Great news for our road teams. Besides the impressive 5th place in the third stage of the Tour Down Under for Steve Morabito (Team FDJ), there was an important announcement during the team presentation of his Team FDJ. Sponsor Francaise des Jeux announced they will continue their sponsorship for 2017 and 2018 and therewith the existence of the team for two more years is secured. 2018 will be the 20th season of Team FDJ, which makes the team one of the longest established teams participating in the World Tour.

Team Roompot and Team Wanty-Groupe Gobert received wild-cards for the 2016 Tour of Flanders and Amstel Gold Race. Wanty-Groupe Gobert also received an invitation for the Criterium du Dauphine. Particpation in these World Tour races offer the young and ambitious riders of both teams a great opportunity to show their potential. As you can see in the post below Team Roompot immediately took things seriously and intensified the sprint training.
