High quality, high levels of technicality, big on looks but at a fraction of the cost of competitors. YES, you read that correctly.
BBB Cycling has been in the eyewear game since their inception way back in 1998. Since this time, the brand has developed and manufactured thousands of innovative products from its base in Leiden, NL. For all types of cyclists on all levels of the sport up to World Champions like Bettini.
The Avenger glasses
I joined BBB Cycling as an athlete at the start of my career back in 2017 and funnily enough, it was their Avenger glasses which really got me interested in the brand. Up until 2017, I’d never really taken note of the brand. I’d seen their tools in local bike shops, but their eyewear design never tickled my fancy. The Avenger glasses are what I would say was their first foray into ‘modern-day cycling trends,’ and immediately I became interested.
Fast forward six years and things have only continued to progress. BBB Cycling released the Commander glasses back in 2019 their previous model of FullView in 2020 and most recently, their Fuse model in 2021. I was fortunate enough to wear both models and was really impressed by the development that had occurred between one model and that which superseded it.
BBB Cycling has just released their latest eyewear offering in the updated ‘FullView’ to FullView HC. Having worn these glasses extensively over the last 6 months I can confirm that they have again, upped their game.
Best set of glasses on the market today!?
From an aesthetics point of view, the FullView HC is up there with the likes of every other leading eyewear manufacturer. Oversized styling, frameless, and with a raft of color choices. Aesthetics aside, the real impression for me is made in the form of the lenses themselves. The lens material and quality are AS good, if not BETTER than the likes of Oakley and 100% and this is a fact-based on the specific use of materials.
What’s more impressive is the price point. BBB Cycling has managed to pack all of this technology into a package that can be purchased for just a fraction of the price of competitors and it does so in an eloquent, understated manner.
Forget the glitz and glamour of competing brands, BBB Cycling is a brand by the people, for the people and it is for this reason, that I love working alongside them in helping to develop and provide feedback on their ever-expanding range of high-quality equipment. Eyewear included.
The FullView HC is the best value set of glasses on the market today. Period!
